Well, being against slatwall and all its entirety since we opened in 08′ I never thought this would happen. The thing is, I never wanted our shop to be like any other, and all I can remember when I walk into any basic motorcycle shop was slatwall and checkered floor, tile, carpet. All the basics of a cookie cutter shop, and to me slatwall shows no creativity.

Took my 09' Phoenix out for a cruise today, think I have 900 miles on for the season. I brought along my new Canon 7D, 580EX II flash, and tripod/umbrella in a book bag. Cruised around until dusk, and found this old mechanic shop. I am still brand new to the camera, settings, off camera flash, but I am learning. Here are some test shots.
